• the under the sky series
it's all started when i went to Hawaii last july for vacation. while waiting for the gondola ride at the Polynesian Cultural Center, i got so bored and started to take picture of my self with the ixus. surprisingly the picture that i took while squatting came out really nice. with the blue sky [i always love taking pics of blue sky] and coconut tree as a background. it was really hawaiian.
since that moment, i always try to take pictures of my self with the same angle wherever i go. given the chance to travel to so many different places, i got inspired to start a series pictures of me being under many different skies with a little bit of help from local objects to indicate where i am.
so far i've only been in Newcastle and Edinburgh since i got back from Hawaii. and i'm really looking forward to travel again soon to add more pics in this series.
